Nationwide Sole and Joint = 2 Flex Regular Online?

Hi guys!

If I have 1 joint account, and 1 sole account, may I open 2 Flex Regular Online? I can't do it through website, I didn't know there is a limit.

Many thanks!

You are allowed one regular saver per person so all you need is a joint account for each account holder to set one up.

I think the reg savers are linked to single accounts. Thats the way I had to set it up, so 2 single named accounts and 1 joint account, the regular savers are both tied to the single accounts.

Yes you can. You could have opened long ago if you had the funds. You didn't need to wait until the sole rate expired.

There used to be a workaround where you each applied via the main product page rather than via online banking and it would create single regular savers against a joint account. Apparently that's no long required but we haven't tried the new way yet.

    Thanks for the info,

I am going to renew the reg saver on both sole account's when they mature, am i right in thinking i will no longer have to fund the sole accounts with the 1k because the 5% on 2.5k will have finished.
    thanks

Cool, I didnt know that, did that mean between two of you, you could end up with 4 reg savers or still limited to just one per individual?

You need to deposit £1k per month into the Flex Direct to get in-credit interest which is 5% for the first year then drops to 1% ongoing.

No still limited to just one RS per person - the old online banking way would try and create a joint RS which was obviously undesirable when you could have individual RSs.
