Howdy !
Whilst being a bit unsettled since my move last year, I bought a few new items , including a wardrobe which mr. Builder assembled . It's a 2 door sliding wardrobe .
After more or less getting my act together , I eventually realise that my wardrobe only has 1 shelf and 1 rail on each side , and would like to get something that would fit Inside for jumpers / tee shirts etc .
I do have a separate chest of drawers for underwear etc .
I was wondering if there are shelving units that I can put in there or similar. There are many holes for rails etc but I'm not sure what the best thing is to get . Any suggestions appreciated
Merry Christmas

DIY shops sell rail and fittings.
Have a look at the Hafele website, there loads of different more specialised storage fittings available, for fitting out cupboards and wardrobes which you can buy online.0 -
Also, Ikea storage is legendary. They have various shelf systems, containers, dividers, hangers, etc. All very reasonably priced and inventive.(Nearly) dunroving0

Thanks folks . Keep suggestions coming .
Regarding IKEA , do they deliver now? Thanks0 -
Ikea is the best place to go. They have a wide range of wardrobe accessories. You could try ebay as well once you know what wardrobe storage accessories you want.0

Yes, I believe it is £25 + £10 if you want them to pick off the shelf for you (i.e., rather than you o to the shop, take to check-out and request delivery there).
I ordered a stack of stuff (Kallax shelves, etc.) and I thought the £35 was worth it to save me driving the long distance to the shop, carrying to car, etc. (plus, it wouldn't have all fit in the car!)(Nearly) dunroving0 -
I would suggest looking at YouTube for clothes storage hacks. You will find yourself introduced to the magical world of Kondo (Ts) and might find that you get away without that trip to Ikea so that will save a few quidValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I prefer as much as possible on hangers.
if the side panels already have the holes for the fixings then find the brand of unit and you should be able to get the correct fixing for extra rail.
most wardrobes you can get 2 rails(single hight clothes like shirts) and one shelf
Link to the actual wardrobe you bought would help or a picture of the inside.
if you can't find the right fixings to match the holes it will e possible to adapt but will need a bit of DIY.0 -
Maybe you ought to start by finding out the make of wardrobe you have.
We have a similar problem with a huge Ikea wardrobe - bought a couple of (non-Ikea) shelves ... they were about 1cm too big!0 -
Thanks again for your input . I'm still trying to get my house( or in my case flat), in order.
Will let you know more when I'm settled . Happy 2019:)0 -

Yes for many, but not all, products: see the website.
Delivery charge is £4/ £10 /£35 depending on size and weight of your order (ie. how couriers charge, or whether IKEA need to send out a two man team). It is worth spending time adding and subtracting items to your basket and recalculating delivery, to see if splitting an order into two makes it cheaper to deliver.
Returns are free if you can drop the parcel at a participating location (eg. newsagent).Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
