One plain £2 coin yesterday in my shopping change, so only my second this month. However, total collected is now £16.
  • Just back from two weeks holiday in Australia visiting family and I've managed to accumulate 6 golden gems from the travel to and fro the airport. So that now brings my total for this year up to £120.

    Very happy with that.

Alas mine were also all plain Gem Gem, but still a welcome sight.

Australia was amazing and my husband's brother and sister in law were the perfect hosts - two amazing people - couldn't have asked for more. This was my first trip over there and I can clearly see why people move over there. The weather was spectacular! It was a real shame to come home but work commitments (end of year finance) meant I couldn't stay any longer. But next year/year after we are looking to do it all again, but for much longer so that we can all go travelling.

Petty cash arrived from the bank today and there were 3 gold gems included. So these have been dutifully swapped and are now living safely in my pot :)

Hubby and I went to New Zealand just over two years ago. It was so beautiful. We would have loved to have moved to there. We will go back again.
