What is the feedback from the 43 viewings? With that many viewings the advert is obviously attracting people but something when they view is stopping them offering... is it the price? or is it something else?0

43 viewings in 8 months and no offers, he's putting them off buying
Apparently not, as although he lives there, he apparently is not there when the property is viewed. Apparently the OP goes around before each viewing to spruce it up a bit.
The OP also popped round everyday to care for the dog. But that's not necessaary now.
But the OP's daughter is there when not at Uni, and the OP goes to see her when she is there too.
However, the OP is aware he doesn't want to sell, despite the daughter who only lives there when not at Uni wanting it sold.
Which leaves the question as to where the daughter will live when not at Uni, if the property is sold.?
Will the OP still be welcomed at the new home, if the daughter goes to live there?
The OP is hoping the house will sell after Brexit... :cool:0 -
House, savings, pensions, children - all part of the picture. What's the situation with the other relevant factors? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
43 viewings seems a lot. What's the feedback? If the people viewing know the area and the price, I'd suggest it's something else putting them off making an offer. Can you de clutter or paint or move furniture about or whatever?0

So you're going to get about half a million quid between you when the house sells. Ideally you'd like even more. There's a lot of people around who would love to have that kind of 'problem'!taking a self-enforced break from this forum due to the persistent and ongoing troll problem, and the systematic abuse of the report button system in order to get people/usernames banned0

A couple purchased a house for £156,000. A few years later, they divorced and tried to sell the house.
After 1 years, they had it on the market for £149k and was offered £146k. This was not accepted.
After 6months, the £146k vanished, and they dropped it to £139k. Still, no buyers...
Then it dropped to £129k.... Standing in Gatwick Airport, we offered £124, 950 (Just under stamp duty) and it was offered..
Post survey, we offered £124,000..with completion in 4 weeks...
Short Story - Divorcing couple could not agree a price, this cost them £30k...plus had to pay council tax...0 -

Which helps the OP how exactly? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I’d move back in. While he is in there, with no push he will be in no rush to sell and sounds like he is dragging his heels in all the way:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

As the OP says she wants her share of the equity then no, they're not going to be splitting "half a million quid" it will be the sales value less the outstanding mortgage and all the selling costs. Jealousy is never a pretty thing.0 -

Well good for them. The op isn't one of them so your point is?
I am not sure you have written this correctly as it just comes across jealous, maybe give it another go.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0
