Using one of many voucher discount websites I found many for Jessops web sales. It said that for purchases between £300 and above enter code SPRING20 and you get £20 off the purchase (you also get free delivery). I was aware that this did not apply to dSLR cameras and two specific compact camera models, however the model I wanted (Nikon Coolpix P6000) was not listed in the exceptions.

When I came to “add to cart” it allowed me to enter discount voucher SPRING20, but at check out sure enough it was free delivery but no £20 discount was applied. I phoned Jessops who said “no, it was an exception item! I argued it was not and they gave way, apologised and credited £20 back to my card. So, customers can get discounts, but you may have to argue the point. It also works out that with discount codes available of lower priced goods too, that Jessops is the cheapest way to buy many camera and associated products.
