Independent Sunroom Survey!

Options
Is it worth having an Independent Survey done on a new Sunroom that was too small to qualify for building regs, don't trust the company surveyor as he is on the payroll and i know skimping goes on with these things.
Also what would be the likely cost of surveying a small 14ft by 6ft Sunroom.:xmassign:

Can you explain why you want to survey it? What's the issue?

Things aren't "too small" to qualify. Outbuildings under a certain size are exempt but even a 1 metre square extension wouldn't be exempt if it's part of the dwelling.

I bet it's someone wanting to sell Spender£ a new roof for it, and trying to think of a good reason to get salesman's foot in the door. :)

    (Don't fall for it Spender£.)

No issue apart from 8 weeks drying out time so far, also wanted to check if damp coming up from floor, i just want an independant view to make sure everything is sound.

what have they done which needs drying out time as eight weeks sounds a little excessive?

Has it got plastered walls or is the moisture somewhere else
