Barclay Card Existing Customer Offers

Has anyone else not received the existing customer balance transfer recently. I haven't had one in 6 months. The balance I had on the card at that time ranged from 80% to 40% of credit utilisation.

  • Do you mean you aren't getting any BT offers from Barclaycard?

Have you checked your marketing preferences? 6 months ago more or less lines up with the GDPR kerfuffle and perhaps you needed to do something to enable Barclaycard to keep sending offers to you
  • I've not had any MTs/BTs from Barclaycard in almost a year at a guess. Originally I'd be getting them every month, mine may be because I've gone through a harder time with money and been overspending and it's at nearly 3/4 of its limit. All balance is still at 0% for a few more months. All payments are still paid on time.
  • meant to say balance transfer offers****
  • Normally see offers through the app.

My offers on Barclaycard stopped a while ago, but I have been receiving them again every month after paying the balance down recently.

The offers may be linked to how you manage the card, balance etc but are most likely based on different criteria for each customer
  • Mine have just improved from BT or MT 18 months 2.4% fee to BT or MT 18 months 1.9% fee.

My card usage has dropped from just above 25% to just below 25% of card limit, so I think at least one factor in whether you see an offer or not is the percentage of credit used

There is a concern about indebtedness and credit card providers are tightening criteria.

I'm still getting, but don't have any interest in using them. My only Barclaycard is a cashback one so I use it for a lot of regular spending and pay it in full to get the cashback.

I've just logged in and next months ones are showing already, even though I don't have a letter yet.

Still getting them every month, and they have improved to longer durations with slightly lower fees.
  • I haven't used my Barclaycard for 2 or 3 years now, except for a monthly CPA of £35 which I pay off in full each month.

I was getting offers every month, but they seem to be more ad-hoc now.

Just logged in and have this one:

    "0% interest until 1 June 2020 (2.4% fee applies)

You can transfer any amount from £100.00 to £17,100.00"
