Does RM deliver within certain times?

Bought an item off eBay and the seller sent via RM Tracked 48, I received the tracking number off the seller and an email regarding the delivery.
It says it’s at my DO and ready for delivery today, that was at 06.17 today.
Just wondered if there was a cut off with them for when they would deliver today? Just it didn’t arrive with my post this morning and I’ve waited in all day.

Is it letter sized? I find those things tend to come with normal post, but parcels are handled separately.0

Our mail centre seem to deliver at all sorts of times, it is not unusual to get a few letters at about 11.30 am and then a van with parcels at 4.30pm.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. We normally get post at home (rural Cornwall) at about 2.30. Most of last week was 3.50pm-ish and today was about 15 minutes ago. at 4.45pm.
We don't get a van with parcels, it all comes with the normal postie,0 -
I've had post at 5-5.30pm before, so it could still turn up!0
