Payments to Ins Co - Do I _have_ to pay by phone or do they have to offer a secure alternative?

Just trying to pay off SureThing's exorbitant cancellation fees (NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!).
They say that I _HAVE_ to give my card details over the phone and that they offer no other payment method. Is this OK?
Cheers,
Steve

How did you pay the premiums?
If you paid by card tell them to use the existing details.0 -
Credit cards were used over the phone long before the internet was available.

Yes, it is OK, why wouldn't it be? (although they would need to provide some over the phone method that is compatible with the Equality Act)0
