I use chrome and poper blocker 4.0.8.1.

Can anyone block all the new tabs this site throws out? It happens when you click on anything, the scroll bar, the white blank space, the search bar, literally anywhere I click I get a new tab opening. However, just now they stopped, maybe the website has a quota of annoying their viewers? On every visit they seem to stop after you have had about 8 new tabs opening.

The blocker is counting them as though they have been blocked but they still get through the blocker.

Chrome cleanup found nothing

Using 'UBlock Origin' and 'Ghostery' I see no popups other than the ones that appear, as you mouse over each film, with the film description.

Ublock and Adblock between then do a good job. I had noscript for ages but caused so many problems particularly when trying to order things online I got rid of it. It does unfortunately mean some sites are able to sneak through videos - newspaper websites for some reason like to have video clips playing which you cannot close (either no x or doesn't do anything) and you have to wait until the video starts to be able to pause it - no script used to block those

The one issue I have is pop-under which they are supposed to block but don't. I find a lot of sites will let you click on a link and it then opens the link but also opens a new tab underneath to some spam site which is frustrating. You can sometimes get around it using the middle mouse to open the link as a new tab but I'd like a better quality blocker that stops any sort of redirection or advert attempts

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Give Ghostery a try, it kills videos on the sites I want it to.
