Egg reduces 0% BT intro rate to 6 months :(

Disappointing. The 2% fee (max £50) still applies too.

0% interest until 1 December 2005 on balance transfers from credit/store cards, overdrafts and loans, then at 14.9% pa variable. For each balance transfer there is a 2% handling fee (maximum £50).
0% interest on purchases until 1 December 2005.

This company is moving more and more towards profit and as it does so, it is reducing the offers in place to entice new customers. Shame really as they really do stand out from the rest of the cc providers. I would hate to find one day they are simply no different.

Yeah, what's most annoying is that they initially introduced the fee but increased the 0% BT intro period to 9 months. Now the period is back to 6 months but the fee is still there :mad:

I dread to think what they'll come up with on July 1st. Better not tempt fate.
