If I take out a money transfer credit card to clear an existing overdraft balance, can I use the rest of the available credit to do a balance transfer from another credit card? Or would i have to take out separate cards for clearing the overdraft and clearing the credit card balance?

Money transfer card will likely be MBNA 28mnths 0%.

You can BT and MT to whatever percentage of the limit the lender specifies.

providing the card has offers on both BT and MT - it might not.

You will almost always pay a fee for a MT but there are sometimes fee free BT offer cards that might work out cheaper for the BT bit if you can get them

To keep it simple, just MT as much as you need to pay off overdraft and CC then pay off the card with the cash now in your account
