I bought a 2nd hand cleaner, the type in the Title.
It not only lacked the parts required for wet cleaning but also had a water pump that would not work.
To begin with, the standard pump is of a Linear design with a couple of one-way valves incorporated into it. The valves get easily clogged and the piston jams.
I sourced a suitable replacement pump on Ebay. It is a, ULKA NMEHP1 MICRO PUMP 230/240V, 21W, 50Hz STEAM CLEANER, STEAM IRON, OVEN
It retails at less than half the price of the original pump and is of a modern design and quality. It fits easily into the bodywork and works great.
Also, I couldn't locate the plastic water-piping so replaced it with a cheap to buy plastic hose more commonly used for anything from fish-tanks, car windscreen wash to small outlets. Simple and cheap alternatives that not only save you money but also work well.:j
