Some time ago I had an appointment with Lloyds Bank and the lady I saw warned me about 'soft searches' and the impact they'd have on my borrowing status with Lloyds themselves and other lenders.

Really wanted to correct her at the time, perhaps I should've done, but it's hard searches that I should be focusing on...

It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.
