ATM withdrawals

I withdrew money from a cash machine but the money never came out. I reported it to my bank and it has been referred to their ATM claims team. It is now 6 weeks later and they are still investigating. Does anyone know if there is a time limit in which they have to respond to claims of this nature?

That happened to me as well and after I phoned ( bank was closed ) the money was returned 24 hours later.0 -
8 weeks is the usual time allowed for a complaints procedure to pass.0

It is, but an investigation into an ATM dispense should take a few days at most, so the machine owner should have come to a conclusion well before now.
OP, did you complain to your card issuer, and are they also the owners of the ATM or is that someone else?0
