Argos refused refund despite having receipt and item.

Try another store, you have until 25th Jan.
They are not breaking any laws but they could be breaching their contractual obligations towards you as their return terms do not state they will not exchange / refund without the Argos code sticker.You just need these 3 things:
Your proof of purchase
The item should be unused, in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition
Any free items that came with your product unused and in a re-sellable conditionNever associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.
