Are they BPA or IPC, there does not appear a logo on the sign.

Also, the contractual charge is buried in the small print, it should be much more prominent, and the yellow lettering is very difficult to read. How high off the grounds were the signs?
    They are IPC members
The signs are quite low, probably around 5ft to the ground
The thing I noticed today is that there are NO signs whatsoever informing/warning that you must pay to park, until you are already in the carpark, by which point, your car reg has already been noted upon entry.
This is a very touristy area near a beach, I can imagine lots of cars turning in to park to look at the view for a few mins and then leaving, there doesn't appear to be any 'free' time at all to enable any driver to drive in, park, review the terms and then decide to leave.

    Dear OP

Couple of things we did to our children, or not as the case may be.

We never loaned our car to them.
We strongly advised them that when they buy a car, it
must be for cash, no HP/etc, and their first cars must
not be too sporty or flash where insure premiums are high
and they must ensure the car is always road legal.

We have heard of too many stories where the mummy and daddy lend their car to their child, child trashes it, gets tickets never puts fule in it/etc.

My recommendation is that youget your "idiot" son to pay the fine & cost and draw a line under it. He parked outside their rules, he is guilty, you are suffering, let him pay for it as this will teach him a lesson for life, trust me.

Park with Ease must have got fed up with the normal rubbish debt collectors on here ... DRP - ZZPS --ZENITH

Guess what, PS&P fall in the same category. Pointless, powerless and probably dipping their toes in an industry they know nothing about

They'll learn not to waste their time

It is not a fine, it is an invoice for alleged damages for an alleged breach of an alleged contract. The so called "rules" may well be fatally flawed, just as the signage appears to be, and he is therefore "guilty" of nothing.

With respect madam, if you wish to offer advice on here, please acquaint yourself with the correct terminology before you do so. Wrong advice could cost the recipient £££.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

You do realise this is a money SAVING site, and these are not "fines", he is not "guilty" of anything unless a judge says so, and rules have to be clearly displayed to be enforceable.

Maybe you should do more research before advising someone to pay cowboy scammers that Parliament is in the process of passing legislation to curtail their money making activities!
