Title of the the website is 'MoneySavingExpert' Your post is completely irrelevant and unhelpful to saving money , the idea was claiming money ,for failure of products and/ or service .

You should have left it by the first post if you just want to just belittle or stereo type people -

I get that you resent feeling that you're being expected to explain your story to posters on here but it's good practice for what you're going to have to say to your bank and I have to say that it really isn't clear how

You clearly don't have to clarify details to people on here (although it makes starting the thread rather pointless and a waste of everyone's time) but if you expect to hold a bank liable for a range of problems that appear to be (at best) only tangentially related to a card decline then you should anticipate some resistance!

The mention of compensation in the thread title is likely to be a pointer in that direct, as indeed it has proved in this case.

To be honest in hindsight I find the whole thing unbelievably funny and to a point unbelievable ( even to myself now) . I have only outlined some of the details in an effort to keep things on point and succinct . If I went into detail, even though very entertaining , No one here would believe how strange a set of circumstances could occur - so I will leave it at that .

    Not at all.

MoneySaving means that - not purposely looking for loopholes and ways around things to get money in return.

What was the financial loss that you suffered that requires you to seek compensation?

Your story has holes in it. Why didn't you contact your bank when the card stopped working ?
