Clearing contacts from mobile phone

Hi

just bought a new mobile phone and plan to give my old Samsung Galaxy S4 to my son. I have transferring everything over to my new phone.

Can anyone advise of a simple way to remove my contacts and logs from my old phone. I also want to remove photos and music. Is there an easy way to do this?

Sign out of all the accounts on the phone.
Perform a Factory Reset on the phone.
