2 years to notice? that's a long time.
When you made a purchase you should have made it as a guest but then you pay full price.
What you did was purchase as a VIP which gave you a discount but also enrolled you into the subscription.
There is ways to avoid the monthly payment by using the skip option and you can also cancel. You did nothing so it just kept charging you.0 -
They make it completely clear when buying that you are signing up for a monthly subscription shopping service, I looked at their site once when looking for a gift for a fitness fiend friend and chose not to buy from them because it is subscription and although I could cancel I decided not to use them.
I don't think I even needed to get as far as adding anything to a basket let alone submitting an order to find out how they operate.0 -
I do feel pretty stupid.. very sad and very stupid..I used an account I very rarely touch because I was saving for something big and I knew if I kept checking it I would be tempted to use the money there, big mistake because it has taken me nearly 2 years to notice the money FABLETICS was taking.. for nothing.. absolutely nothing.. Arent they meant to review memberships annually?
Is there no way to fight this?0 -

No. You were meant to review it monthly.
According to their site, your fees act as credits for purchases, so I suggest you buy everyone athletics gear for Christmas.0 -
So you deliberately used an account to avoid fraud, then never bothered to check whether anything was happening that you weren't expecting for 2 years? Never has there been a truer saying than that a fool and their money are soon parted! Hopefully at least this will have taught you to check in future.0

Their t&cs state:It’s your responsibility to sign into your account and either shop or “skip the month” by the 5th of the month. If you shop or skip you won’t be charged for a member credit that month. If you don’t take action between the 1st and 5th of the month, you’ll be charged £44 for a member credit on the 6th. You may use your credits at any time to shop on the website.
So £44 x 24 = £1056.
Looks like you better stock up on sportswear then cancel!
Personally I would buy a load of leggings/tops then sell them on Facebook. You will probably make most of your money back.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
