Thanks, I cannot log into MCOL as they changed something on their system and as I registered prior to the change they cannot help me regain access to it. I can call them which is the only option now. However I have downloaded the form to fill in but I am not sure what I fill in the first field - To be completed by, or on behalf of - this box on their form had HX Car Park management Ltd in it. Do I replicate this or put in my details?

Have you read bargepole's post about how to complete the DQ, box by box? It's linked in the NEWBIES thread post #2 (everything about court procedures is there).

  • N180 filled in as per bargepoles recommendations and emailed to CCBC.

Do I need to send a copy to Gladstones or does the court do that?

Yes you can email the DQ to the court, that's fine.

Come back when allocated to your local court, to show us your WS and evidence.

Had my day in court and WON my case against Gladstones and HX CarParking Management Ltd.

It took the judge minuets to conclude that the claimants case was flakey, they were not clear on what basis they were persuing this.

The judge was happy that I had indeed payed and displayed. The claimants were not disputing this as they failed to provide a VRN list which would be conclusive proof of non payment.

The fact that they did not produce or provide the VRN list went against them, the Judge also advised that there were many reasons that entering a wrong VRN was not a reason to be liable for a fine - he did state another case where this was all set out (i cannot remember which one)

I could tell in the first 30 seconds that the Judge was all over this, I diddnt even get a chance to question the reps right of audience before the Judge was pulling out the threads of their case.

Thanks to all who helped get me here.
