ParkingEye: Question on how to reword the ONE SIZE to fit my appeal

Hi all, and thanks for the great work you all do.
I have a question regarding the one size fits all appeal template. Basically, I parked in a ParkingEye car park which has a new system in place whereby you have to register your numberplate at the restaurant to get 3 hours free parking. I failed to do this but did pay on card for my meal, so have the bank statement to prove I was a customer on that day.
I have been sent a £100 fine with photographic evidence of the car entering and exiting the car park, time and date of entrance and exit etc.
My simple appeal would be to say I was a paying customer and to prove it, but I'd rather (a) not be caught out by these unscrupulous ****'s and (b) stick it to them in a way they know I have this entire forum to back me up!
So, do I go the copy and paste, ONE SIZE route, and if so, in what way can I word it to say I was a paying customer without it saying I admit anything? Do I send a screen-grab of my bank statement at this stage?
Or do I simply say I parked there, didn't put in my number plate, but can prove I was a paying customer?
I'm guessing the former, I just don't know how to word things legally.
Oh and I have complained in email to the restaurant already.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Send the blue text template appeal that you have already found.
Send it unchanged - no additions or alterations necessary.
Your post tells me that you would be at great risk of throwing away the important detail of the driver's identity.
Send it as the keeper.
That's all there is to it at this stage.0 -
Thanks Keith, will do.0

This has come up, on the online appeal form it is asking for a choice of: (drop down menu, have to choose)
Please select the reason for your appeal:
- I was a customer on site
- I was a visitor / guest of the site
- I was working on site
- I paid for parking
- I entered an incorrect vehicle registration into the payment machine / terminal
- I was a patient
- I had difficulties with my vehicle that day
- I has a valid permit
- I was not the driver of the vehicle
- Other
Without submitting this form, I have stated I am the REGISTERED KEEPER (not driver), but then which should I select from the above, I was a customer on site?
Then the 'blue text appeal' referred to, it says:
You can (carefully!) add a little to the template above, 'in order to resolve the dispute I attach copies of...':
- the driver's receipts/bank transactions (or Hospital Appointment/Hotel booking, etc.) that day as 'they' were a genuine customer/patient, etc.
Is it worth me doing this and adding to the blue text this:
"in order to resolve the dispute I attach copies of a screen grab of a bank transaction from that day as 'they' were a genuine customer"0 -
Choose 'other'.0

yes you can .. on the drop down never ever use the I ... me options ... it is all ways the driver ... keeper so pick other ....
you can ad onto the template that the driver / or keeper was a paying customer and copy the receipt ...
Have you complained to the restaurant yet ?
they can cancel this ... if not then leave warnings on tripadvisor/facebook/googlemaps

Yes, I went into the restaurant last night who said I will have to appeal it, then today I made a formal complaint in writing.0

as I stated ... try leaving them 'nice' feedback ... it often has the effect

You also need to edit your initial post to remove information about who parked. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper, who are two different people.

Reword the initial appeal for as much as they like - their opening post (unedited) blows most things out of the water! You also need to edit your initial post to remove information about who parked. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper, who are two different people.
