    Hi all

    Update for February.

Well, things started out great, but then we got hit with some unexpected bills, so I've actually gone backwards and made the debt bigger too :( . On the plus side, it's been a managed increase and it could have been a lot worse.

I considered not posting this update, but not facing the music doesn't help, so here it is...

Here's my final figures for February:

#166 net increase in debt £229.28. After the reduction in January, that increases my debt to £5,683.28, so 103% of target :o

So, taking a deep breath and going for it again in March.

Sometimes these things can't be helped Beach holiday. Well done for posting about it anyway - like to say you need to face it head on even if it's not what you would like to be posting. We're all here to support you through the year. Who knows, in a few months you may be making a big dent in it.

Okay, so I'd calculated my starting debt wrong and haven't added in my Jan/Feb standing orders but I've just done a handwritten snowball tracker to try and keep me motivated and I'm feeling motivated.... that 961.47 was accepted as a full and final on my biggest debt of 2461.68 so now my debt to pay off is 2796.33 by Dec 2019... should I add what I've paid up to that to show sums properly or leave the original bigger sum there to show debt level started with in Jan... confused...

    099 :xmassmile Student_Mrs £ 1032.81 paid in Jan and Feb... - remaining debt now 2796.33 ... (was 5277.35 when I joined

Got a refund from a credit card company, so a lovely chunk of money has been taken off the outstanding total. Nice to see the total drop way below £5000 finally.

    £936/£5,643 = £4,707 outstanding :T
