    #110 paid off the debt!!!
    7293 final settlement.

Thanks to a combination of two lots of contract work for a local authority finally being paid. I always knew they would eventually pay but it took a long time and I kept doing work for them (LA I figured they would pay at some point, probably a bit naïve) so when it came in finally, it came in as a lump sum. I also needled at my other half to let me use our savings to clear the debt. It's gone and even though we have virtually no savings I feel so much better for seeing it go.
Thank you everyone on these boards for helping me have a lightbulb moment and not drift aimlessly onwards.

    Good luck everyone
