  • I've paid off two debts this morning and just have one left now :j

I was thinking of saving for a couple of months for a bit of peace of mind of having some money in the bank, but after another night of waking too early with things running through my mind, I decided I wanted the peace of mind of being debt free more, so used all the savings to clear the two debts. Now at least I can focus on just one debt.

    So totals now are

    #008 £5205/£8094

    £2889 to go.

Well done everyone, keep plugging away :T

  • Morning,

Due to a mix up, it ended up that my payment to Lloyds was placed on last months statement and not this months, so an extra payment made.

Sent another £105 to the MBNA card. When I realised I was close to having paid off £2,000 I tried to do another £22 but they only let me make one payment per day! I can do that soon though.

    #173 Paid £105 = £1,978.13 / £5,800

The MBNA balance is now £640 and the 0% expires on 22 July. I'm owed about £500 in work expenses so if those come through in time, that and next month's monthly payment can clear it for me without having to touch savings :j

Not been on site for ages as my mum’s been diagnosed with vascular dementia and thinking about anything else has been too hard but reading back everyone is doing well. Hopefully even those not off the mark will throw a fiver at it. I’ve found starting is always the hardest. I’ll send all my totals at the weekend. Have a good week everyone.

That's really bad news about your Mum :(
Fair play to you for still staying focused.
