Thankfully, as my pay date is the 15th, we don’t get paid early.  It also means that January isn’t such a long month!

My main payday is 13th so similarly not affected.

It also means that those end of month pay day emails don’t bother me either!

I worked for a company with a 15th pay date for years - definitely makes life easier for a lot of budgeting things!

How's everyone going? Anyone's pay arrived yet and needed stashing out of temptations way? Are all budgets in place and safely lashed down?

Interestingly, my payslip states the normal date, but I got my pay today.

MrEH’s pay has landed this morning, and I’m glad for having scrutinised it as we might have found they’ve paid him short, perhaps due to confusion over a change of tax code. He is currently examining his change of coding letter before logging on to check the electronic payslip too. If it is wrong then hopefully it can be sorted out today rather than having to wait until new year.
