Hi all.
Ive received a PNC charge letter in the post from BW Legal from Dec 2016.
The balance includes £100 PCN plus £60 initial legal charge of £60 and i have to pay the £160 within 16 days.
After reading many pages on the forum im slightly confused on my next steps.
Whilst im not willing to pay the £160 (as i remember buying a ticket and displaying on the windscreen) i hear about it two years later!
There was no notice placed on the windscreen!
Any help will really be appreciated right now.
Thanks in advance!

This is a debt collectors letter.
Post #4 of [URL="https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread[/URL] describes exactly how to deal with debt collectors letters.
Who is the parking operator?0 -
Premier Parking Solutions Limited0

The extra £60 has nothing to do with a legal charge, you are dealing with liars and scammers, it's just an extra trumped up fee the debt collecting muppets have added.0

Thanks fisherjim, but what do I do?

As said by Keith, it's a debt collector letter and BWLegal are trying to scare you. BWLegal has now crossed over to the wrong side of the track where only scammer live
IGNORE THIS LETTER ...... only if you receive a letter before claim giving you 30 days to respond do you come back here
BWLegal are now trying to extort money from you which is against the principals of the SRA. You must complain with vigour to the SRA

The £60 is a fake and double recovery which is not allowed by the courts.

BWLEGAL ADD ON A FAKE £60 ?
In addition to the 'parking charge', the Claimant's legal representatives, BWLegal, have artificially inflated the value of the Claim by adding costs of £60 which has not actually been incurred by the Claimant, and which are artificially invented figures in an attempt to circumvent the Small Claims costs rules using double recovery. >>>> thanks to bargepole0 -
Hi all,
I’ve now received a letter of claim from BW legal asking me to pay £251.57! Which includes court fees and solicitors fees! And gives me 30 days to respond.
Can anyone suggest what I do now?
Thanks0 -

Are you going to ask this question everytime something happens? Can anyone suggest what I do now?
Surely you realise by now that all the advice you could possibly need (well almost) can be found in the NEWBIES thread.
That really should be your 'go to' resource before asking any question.
Please familiarise yourself with that thread in preparation for the next piece of excitement.
