  • Would someone please be able to help me? I need to confirm my Swagbucks ID for Hideout.tv, but don't know how to find it.
I had saved my hidout.tv points to over 450 and last week redeemed them for Swagbucks points, but it didn't credit. The Swagbucks points are in my redeem history of hideout, so I asked them what had happened and they say I need to confirm my Swagbucks ID, apparently,
it's the one with numbers only, that are about 6-8 digits in length. I asked on Facebook, but they told me to contact Swagbucks directly, which I have, but they haven't come back to me and I don't know when they will, in the meantime I haven't redeemed any more points in case it goes into that Hideout/Swagbucks black hole!! ;)
It may have been something to do with that message the other, to confirm that this is your Swagbucks account, but I have really no idea what happened.
    Thank you.

Didn't even know there was a swagbucks id till you just said, looked at my Hideout account under Loyalty Rewards Program and there it is. Although it doesn't show it it says ID/Username and my InstaGC shows just my username. Can you give your username to Hideouts help desk to confirm?

sonjaday, I found my own number on swagbucks. It's the last 8 numbers of my referral link, on Hideout it's shown as 'SB-(eight numbers)'
  • Thank you so much thisone. I'll couldn't find anything, I'll check out mine.

Thank you for your help thisone.
I've now found one number, but there must be a second number allocating some Swagbucks to another account.

    I've had the message today,
    Update/Dismiss
We detected a different Swagbucks account. Would you like to update to this account?

I think I must have clicked update at one time and some of my points have gone awol!
It was annoying, because this was the first time I had saved up so many points - typical.
I need to find out my second ID and keep to that.
The person from Hideout.tv said they were standing by waiting for my reply from Swagbucks.
Knowing Swagbucks, they could be waiting a long time!!!;)

If you say "Yes" there are general follow-up questions but it did not pay for me. So I suggest answering No since it seems that pays and is quicker.

Hi sonjaday and anyone else using Hideout. I just tried to use Hideout today, the clicked link from sb said it had an expired certificate, I clicked through, signed in using my Hideout.tv username/password although it was saying the site address was hideout.co and got the same, 'we've detected a duplicate account, do you want to use it' message, I selected dismiss and I've been able to claim the points to my sb account, I have only one.
So it looks like there's some issue with different site names or log-in systems or cookies and is no fault of yours sonjaday.
