Anyone use Amazon audible? I am thinking of getting a year's sub as a Christmas present but £8 month for one audiobook seems quite a lot as I am unlikely to listen to it more than once. Any views?

I use Audible as I go to sleep every night listening to an audio book, so my £8 a month is worth it. I also re-listen to my favourites. (I've listened to some of Bill Bryson's books many times).
It depends how you want to use it. Individual books normally cost about three times as much as the monthly subscription, so it might be cheaper just to buy a couple of books a year? Who knows !!
It's a good app and works well with my iPhone.I can't imagine a life without cheese. (Nigel Slater)0
