Wallpaper removed, small patch of paint removed exposing plaster

Hi,

I removed wallpaper from a plaster wall, during this a small bit of paint peeled off. I want to repaint the wall a different colour. I'm not sure if the wall was sealed properly but I'm not sure whether to:

  • Re-seal the whole plasterboard
  • Fill it and then sand down
  • Reseal the small patch
  • Just paint over it
.
Any advice appreciated!

Thanks

Check that the surrounding paint isn't loose, rough the surface with some coarse paper, then dampen and fill the patch.

Sand it flush when fully dried and carry on. :)

You could just sand the edges of the paint to blend it in then paint it
