Not too sure where to post this, but seeing as it plugs in, I thought in here was best
My elderly father has an old radio, and was told by someone it may be worth something. I've tried Google, but nothing (other than an old Russian image of something similar), and wondered if any of you could shed any light?
Its a:
Carltone Pathfinder NR 52 F1
It is ancient, and I think (I'm going back 35 years or more) you could possibly pick up shipping and other things on it? (may be normal for back then)
Anyway, if anyone can help in any way, it'd be much appreciated

Some are indeed worth a bob or two. I couldn't hazard a guess on the value of your Dad's but a few links to clubs in the following link.

I have one too that I inherited amongst other things, I think the same model.
I'd forgotten about it until this post. I'll have a look at it later!0 -
These things are usually very interesting but worth very little. I have some old hifi gear in the loft that is much older than 35 years but not worth much money.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

Thanks ballyblack, looks identical. No idea where he got the 'Carltone' name from, he passed me a bit of paper with the details on earlier. I'll double check when I visit him next
Ironically, the flip up world map is what i used to learn about countries when i was a small child0
