  • I don't think the question has been asked and apologies for doing so but what sort of sums are we talking about? No need to be specific but, for example, £100's, £1,000's or significantly higher?

    You need to politely tell the executor, with a copy in writing, that she must get legal advice because if she gets it wrong she will be personally liable. With any luck she will see sense.

    You could then get a solicitor to look over it and give you better advice as to what share you may be due.

    Here on the forum unless you can give the exact wording of the Will we are just guessing at what yoau might be due.
