Tesco credit card

in Credit cards
I just logged on to Tesco and saw a note that there is to be a £15 minimum payment for their credit card from 5th January 2019.
Also, if they need to confirm a transaction as genuine, instead of asking for digits from the password they will in future send a one-use code to the registered mobile. They suggest checking that they have your mobile number (and that for your additional cardholder, if applicable) correctly recorded. So I went to do this.
Whilst in 'manage account' I clicked on 'statement options' and was surprised to see it had 'online statements' selected, as I receive paper statements by post. Whilst re-reading to make sure I was understanding correctly, I received an email saying that I would henceforth be able to view my statements online (that is, implying that I had turned off paper statements without actually stating that). So I selected 'paper statements' and 'save preferences', whereupon I received another email saying that I had changed to paper statements!
It seems as though online statements is now the default and you get that just by reading the settings. Or am I being paranoid? Can anyone else confirm this behaviour, please?

I have always set myn at £25Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

OK, thanks. Silly me! I thought it meant there would be a minimum transaction payment of £15 - quite wrong!0

Made me smile..........but have no idea.
This being MSE I pay no attention to any minimum payment - just automatically pay the balance in full every month and rake in the Clubcard points. If there is a zero balance then the payment is zero.
Having never used the online facility I get a monthly statement though the post.Never trust a financial institution.

With Tesco, the minimum payment is usually £25, or, if your balance is less than that, the full amount shown on your most recent statement.
From memory when they started to make the push towards online statements every time I logged in I got asked if I wanted to opt in/out; until I made the switch I could view them online and got one through the post as well. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
