hitachi 42" plasma - serial no. 42 PD 6700 (u)

Bought this T.V. for Xmas a couple of years ago from Argos.:j
Can't believe it, but I've managed to loose the manual.:eek: :eek: :eek:
Have tried everthing that I can think of to get a replacement - contacted manufacturer and Argos - ignored and searched the web.

Can anyone out there help or suggest what else I can try??

There are a couple of 42PDXXXX listed though not specifically 6700. Might be worth a look.

We downloaded the 42PD7800 manual from this site a while ago and this is what we have been using but unfortunately it doesn't explain all of the functions of my tv.
Can't really understand why the manual that I need wasn't on this site. Just my luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
