Hi Guys
Thanks for all yoir kind words.
Well I have just got back from the Dr's. Depression like I thought. I've got an appointment to see the counsellor (?) and another appointment to see my Dr. He's given me a website where I can read all about it and the possible treatments. I really don't want to go on Anti-depressants.
I am ok and still need this site, but I will just lurk for a bit and post when I feel I need to.
But hopefully this is the first step in the right direction and I'll be back to normal soon.

Hi Lucy, I dont really know you but want to offer you supprt. I had depression 3 years ago, ended up seeing a psychologist and did it without tablets. My depression was for another reason, not money, but it is possible to overcome. Things will get better. I needed a combination of techniques to help, but got there, you will too.0

Just to say that I have depression. The reasons are very personal, so much so that 18 months on since diagnosis, I still don't feel right speaking about it to a counsellor. I am therefore on tablets. They do work, though the 6 weeks for them to kick in was a b*tch! Now I have got to the point where I can laugh with my children, and have done another course for my diploma. I still have low days, but am definitely miles better than before the tablets. I have to now think about coming off them, but stresses in my financial life (bl**dy insurance company!), mean that I won't just yet. When that mess is cleared up I will think about it then, in consultation with my doc
best of luck

Hi Lucy
I felt the same as you a couple of months ago.. I am on prozac now and although they took a while to 'kick in', I do feel a lot better. I was spending huge amounts of time on here, and whilst I was better with the MSE every other bit of my life went a little bit pearshaped.
Don't stress about taking tablets, if you need them you need them.

Hi.
I did the same myself a month or so ago. I still pop in every day to catch up but spend less time on here than I did. Works for me and I hope the same works for you.
Good luck.

Lucy, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling low.
We all need a break from time to time. We'll all be here when you get back.
You must feel to worried about taking the tablets, if that's what you need to do.
I'll miss you, my slimming world buddy !!!!!Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
