Hi,
We have just had our TiVo box replaced by Virgin today for a V6 box? As we were unable to watch Netflix due to constant buffering.
The installer left as the box was booting up and told me just to follow the instructions and I didn’t anticipate a problem..... Alas....
I was prompted to hold down the clear and tv key then enter a code to synchronise the remote to operate both the box and the tv and that’s where it all went horribly wrong! I went through all the codes, none of them worked. I phoned Virgin, they suggested Googling a code, tried that and none of the codes worked. Now need to use two controls instead of one. Husband and I are both disabled, he only has sight in one eye so it’s not ideal.
The TV is a Samsung e-motion so any advice would be gratefully received

Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

I found out how to do this myself :T so I thought I would share it for anyone else who might have the problem.
Using your Virgin remote go to Home and Help and Programme your remote, then hold down the ‘clear’ and ‘tv’ key until the green light at the top of the remote flashes green twice enter the code 0999. Then press the channel up key once every two seconds and stop when the tv switches off. Press the ‘OK’ Button. The code is saved when the green light at the top of the remote flashes green twice. Turn the TV back on with the remote, if Ok then the key that looks like an arrow hitting a wall ->| to continue.
I hope this helps someone else.
