Are you likely to win from the same company twice?

Hi, I've won something from TV Choice, but was just wondering whether it's worth entering their future competitions. Has anyone won from them twice?

Unless it is not allowed by T&Cs then it makes no difference for a properly run competition and this should be as the title is part of Bauer Media.0

It depends what the T&Cs say. Most of the advents say one prize per person, but there is a local company to me who said that there is no limit to how many times you can win.
With bigger prizes, sometimes they state that you can't win again within 6 months.Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.0 -
Depends on the company. I won twice about 6w apart from a magazine a few years ago and had no issues, plus I saw a Twitter person have 2 wins in the same week from a page we both follow so it can definitely happen.
2014 wins: maternity/nursing pillow, Magnum chocolate, baby stroller, Baileys cupcakes
Took a break while I moved country (twice).
2018 wins:£400 meal for 4, Clipper tea
2019 wins: flight voucher0 -
I've seen the same person win the same competition twice (when there was more than one prize available) so it does happen in even more extreme cases, for the time it takes to enter a competition, if the prize is something you want then just enter it anyway and if they say "no, sorry", then chalk it up and move on.
You'd probably spend more time worrying about it / checking your previous wins than it would take to actually just enter, so just go for it

A few years ago I won two Capital FM competitions in close succession (probably a month apart), first a Macbook Air and then £500. Sadly winnings have been sparse since!2024 wins: £1001 cheque
2021 wins: £50 cash (Sun); £200 product of year hamper (Sun)
2013 wins: hair styling wand, £500 cash
2012 wins: 6 iTune song downloads, Macbook Air + 12 months Netflix subscription!!, £500 cash, 1xbook, 1xblu-ray, Il Divo tickets, £250 L'Occitane hamper, £200 cash
2011 wins: iPod nano+£50 iTunes voucher,Sleeping Bag,DVDs,Electric toothbrush,£500 party pack,Katie Melua tickets,Motherboard,£50 iwoot voucher0 -
Unless it's stated in the T&Cs there's nothing stopping you entering, and winning, more than once with the same company.
I've personally had multiple wins with Empire, Doctor Who and Real People magazines and Sky, BBC and ITV teletext services back when they were running. (I won the latter's 'Where in the World' competition three times in the space of six months.) And those are just the ones I can remember.
I also remember the local paper running a competition for a few months several years back and it was obviously poorly advertised because the same two or three people won it for pretty much the entire duration it ran for!'...luck came to those who left a space for it.' Terry Pratchett0 -
A couple of years ago I won £500 with a magazine in the Bauer Media group, shortly followed by £2000 with one of their radio competitions.
Those were the days!
I'm currently doing the Travis Perkins daily competitions, and won a chocolate selection box. I told them how much I enjoyed searching for the answers, and they told me to keep entering as it would be possible to win again.0 -
