Nectar T&C Change - No More Expedia Vouchers

Disappointing to see they have stopped issuing vouchers for Expedia having used them in the past to pay for city breaks. You can still collect but you have to go through their site whereas I’d always go via TCB. Am shopping less and less at Sainsbury’s these days p, we also have a Sainsbury’s credit card...think it’s time to look elsewhere.

We wanted to let you know about some important changes around how you collect and spend points with Expedia.
Starting from today:
1. To continue to collect points on your Expedia bookings, you must now visit the Nectar website (https://www.nectar.com) and then select the dedicated Expedia page to access the Expedia website and make your booking. If you book with Expedia directly and do not come via the Nectar website, you will not be eligible to collect points on that booking.
2. You are able to collect more points on Expedia bookings and will now collect 2 points per £1 spent on standalone hotel, car hire, activity (new) and package bookings on https://www.expedia.co.uk. You can also collect 1 point per £1 spent on any standalone flight booking.
3. However, you will no longer be able to convert your points into a voucher to spend with Expedia from today.
For those who have already converted their Nectar points into a voucher to spend with Expedia, your voucher is valid for one year from the day the voucher was created. For more information on your voucher expiry date, please visit My Profile on https://www.expedia.co.uk.

Really disappointed by this especially as I only received the e-mail notification from Nectar this morning - the day after their contract with Expedia ended.. I was saving towards a trip and had collected over £750 of points. With Expedia vouchers not available and EasyJet also no longer a partner - my 2 main reasons for collecting points have gone0
