I am not to use my balcony wearing anything less than trunks. If I was female, no less than a 2 piece swim suit.

This was obviously the only reason I wanted a balcony, so I could sit out there naked all day looking at all the other tenants dangly bits. I am devastated. :D

Has anyone else found covenants in their lease that they were not expecting?

I am intrigued - there has to be a back story to that. All I have is not be immoral and not to hang washing outside.
  • I’d love to find out if we have any unusual covenants on our house.

Unfortunately, when we paid down the mortgage and requested the deeds we were told they no longer hold the paper version.

Does anyone know how I go about finding the full deeds online?

We were sent a short, one page document that had naff all on it and seeing as the place was build in the 1890s I was looking forward to having a lovely old fashioned document.

Unlikely to get the full deeds online. Try your local record office.on the slim chance the deeds have made their way there at some point.
  • Last house, not to have any pornographic material in the house.

One we nearly bought but sale fell through, not to have any washing on the line outside on Sundays. No caravans either.

It got me wondering too, maybe they have had an apartment block overtaken by naturists in the past.

I told my girlfriend I am not allowed out wearing less than shorts, she said she agrees! :D
