How to complain about Nissan customer service.

Tenth Anniversary 10,000 Posts Name Dropper PPI Party Pooper
I'm extremely unhappy with the response I have received from Nissan's Customer Service department and don't want to let it rest. Any link I can find is actually directed back to Nissan Customer Service which is obviously not what is required. Does anybody have any ideas on who I should escalate the issue to?

    OK. Car is 2 years old and the sat nav info is from 1st quarter 2017! That was the update installed in October 2017. Nissan's own website says the map is updated every year, but there has been nothing this calendar year. Contacted Nissan Customer Services, got no reply in about 2 months, chased it and the response basically was "Tough, we don't know. It's supplied to us by a 3rd party, chase them yourself".

    Sometimes the updates are chargeable (I know my non Nissan car was after 3 years but is now 'free') However, the user has to update themselves and even though I'm tech savy partly, I have not bothered to update, it was not a straightforward thing to do.
    Have you been on any forums to see what other owners are suggesting, from the from mfr view I can see it wouldn't be top of their list of must do.
    Only one area in Corby has the roads not been on my 5 year old sat nav (I don't live in Corby).

    You can buy the map update sd card and traffic camera updates off eBay very cheaply. My Nissan has the 2016 maps installed and to be honest with today's road building programme I don't really see the need to update. The traffic camera updates are downloaded to your Laptop and transferred to the connect system by using the USB connection.

    It is covered by Mapcare. As I said above, the mapping is supposed to be updated every year and that hasn't happened this year. The local dealership staff effectively shrug their shoulders and say they don't know, and clearly aren't interested in trying to find out. Nissan Customer Services are just as bad, which is why I'm trying to escalate it.
    I don't care about speed cameras but I do care about accurate route information. On two long trips there have been fairly major changes to road layout, and all I'm asking is that Nissan actually do what they claim to do i.e. update the bloody maps.

    What version is it? The car was services a couple of weeks ago and all I got at my dealership was blank looks. I had a battle last year too.
