All works fine with MS Money on W10, never had problems with auto backup or manual backup to a usb stick.
No problems with hang either.

If you do get a problem just rebot it with your old CD !!!
never lost any data doing this !!

It's a OLD excel that STILL works.....from a CD

No, it was a well documented issue of hanging on exiting Money when you don't have the auto back-up enabled. This may have been an issue with early editions of W10 (and one I did experience, hence my investigation of the issue back in the day), with the mentioned workaround being to simply enable auto back-up.

I haven't disabled the auto back-up since I originally experienced/resolved it so have no experience if the issue does or does not exist in the later editions of W10. I'm happy with the auto back-up on exit enabled as it is a reminder to back-up periodically.
