  • Wow £30 a month for duel fuel? Either you are living by torch light and cooking on a campus stove, as the SC can be up to £30 alone.
I would double check your bills with up to date meter reads, not the last bill figures otherwise you maybe having a catch up bill.
Be happy, it's the greatest wealth :)
  • I can confirm my monthly direct debit with FU is definitely £30 for dual fuel. I can also confirm my account is in credit. I can further confirm to all posters that I give FU meter readings every month so my bills are accurate. I am an extremely low fuel user. I gave LAMB my annual usage of fuels in kWh looking at my previous 12 months usage with FU, so its all as accurate as I can make it! Well I will take back full control of my energy supplier and switch myself using the best tariff and cash-back where applicable!

As you have found out, you have probably spent as much time checking the validity of the switch as it would have taken you to compare prices and switch yourself. Reading LAMB's terms and conditions there are just too may 'ifs and buts' for me.

Quote: We take into account a broad range of factors in selecting your energy contract or supplier which include price but also include (without limitation) the length of the deals on offer, long term price guarantees, quality of service, customer service, customer ratings, financial stability of the supplier, its track record and other information that may be available to us. Best value for money is one of the criteria by which we select energy contracts/supplier for our subscribers but the deal that we may select for you may not be the cheapest deal on the market at a given time and might not be the cheapest for your purposes. Unquote

The terms and conditions also refer to a Customer Guarantee which appears not to be in the terms and conditions. That said, I am sure that this type of offer works for some. .
