Sending parcel from USA to UK

I was on holiday in USA recently. I left some souvenirs and a few other bits at the hotel. They have the bag - and rather than just sending me it and charging me whatever it costs - they are asking me to send them a shipping label for it to be sent.
I'm not too sure where to start.
The bag won't weigh much, but has a few essentials I want back in there as well.
Can anyone advise, please? It's to a UK address - personal belongings, rather than anything business related.
Any help is appreciated!

Have you tried the obvious courier services like DHL or TNT?

or ask the hotel concierge if the hotel have a preferred courier service they use and use them. Some of the larger US hotels have business centres with courier services or even dedicated courier mail drop boxes.

Really depends on the size, value and how fast you want to get it. Start with the MSE article:

USPS will probably be cheapest but slowest, looks like you can buy online:

If you want a courier compare prices direct with the major ones first (DHL, FedEx, UPS etc.), paying attention to any surcharges, then see if you can get it cheaper through a broker (they tend not to include surcharges, so add these on).

The bigger couriers can provide packaging on pickup too, which is generally cheaper to ship compared to your own packaging.

Remember that anything sent from the USA to the UK will be subject to customs charges. However you can claim an exemption for any personal possessions that you bought in the UK/EU and took out with you. Have a look at form C3. If you don't do this in advance you may end up having to pay import duties and then claiming them back, although if the delivery company charges you for processing the customs charges (like ParcelForce does) then you won't be able to claim back their fee even if you get the tax refunded.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning
