Frustrating of course but keep in mind you got a cheaper deal by booking inflexible accommodation.

frustrating as I never would have booked but my husband thought he was doing a nice thing so can't be mad at him. lol

so just an update, I kept on and on, emails and phone calls to the agent and hotel. Just today they have agreed to let me change dates! So glad I persevered and would advise anyone who find themselves with same problem to keep going. They told me no so many times but I was determined not to give up lol. I have had to pay Ryanair fees for changing flights but I was happy to do this.

I just read your posts for the first time. Well done on getting it sorted. :T

It would help other readers if you posted who this holiday was booked with to prevent others going through the hassle you've had.

How so? The agent the booking was made from wasn't the problem, the problem was that the booking didn't allow for changes.
