Sniffing up snot at work

I’m having trouble with my boss snorting snot, whimpering coughing and tapping his fingers on the table. I can’t move seats as I “have to” sit next to him. What can I do? Would I be ok to bring it up?

If your concern is infection prevention, that's one thing.
It sounds more like you're annoyed. Depending on your relationship (which clearly isn't great if he's micro managing you) bringing up annoying habits may not yield the results you want0 -

I'm guessing it's infered from the use of quotes in "I "have to" sit next to him "0 -

No totally the wrong thing to do..he is your boss and there for superior to you,you should keep quiet and carry on.
Maybe offer to make him a Hot Lemon drink which will help the running noise and sooth a sore throat.;)0 -
Hes not micro managing me. Quite the opposite. I started the job and he went on holiday the next week for two weeks. Didn’t tell me what to do in those two weeks or in the week I was there. Same for the other new staff.
I have to sit next to him because we had a new office layout and it’s where I got placed.0 -

If he’s my boss why is he asking what I’m doing in my spare time such as how many days I plan to spend on my annual leave in X country and where I’m sleeping (I was seeing an x boyfriend).
If he’s my boss why is he scratching his crotch when I’m sitting next to him?0 -
@comms yes having someone cough all day and not cover their mouth is disease prevention. Considering he’s always using hand sanitizer you would expect him to be cleaner.0

His habits and those around me (there is another snorter). I’m looking at a new job because I do next to nothing all day and this situation is providing me anxiety.
My boss wouldn’t be able to recruit my position because the director put up a lot of resistance.... because the director knows that sales are decreasing year upon year and they can’t justify/afford.0 -

Ok, firstly not a disease.
Secondly hand sanitizer does not prevent the spread of infection, and certainly doesn't cure it. Hand sanitizer helps reduce the risk, but the cold virus is airborne...0
