Evening all
Please, please can someone move Xmas back a week :rotfl:. I seem to be 1 step forward and 2 steps back and I've still got a heap of things to do, like marzipan and ice the Xmas cakes :eek:.

This is the first time I've sat down today, except for about half an hour for a snack lunch..
We started out this morning to collect Mr Fix It's script from the surgery, then on to the chemist to get it filled. One item was OOS and it would be the most important one, his cancer meds, so we have to go back on Monday now . On to town to the market to get some spices and then into Iceland for some party cakes that Mr Fix It fancied - it was manic in there ! Called in a few more shops for only a couple of things then made our way home.
After lunch Mr Fix It decided that he wanted to try a new recipe for a curry, what a faff , took us all afternoon and of course I was promoted ( ? ) to sous chef and did all the chopping :rotfl:. TBH his throw it all in curry is much nicer.
In between my kitchen duties, I put away the mornings shopping, did 2 loads in the WM, filled and emptied the DW several times, wiped down the kitchen ( more than once ) and cleaned the bathroom. Oh and I cooked a turkey, one of the tiny ones that Dad bought. We had some in the curry and there is enough for lunch tomorrow.
Now I'm putting my feet up and I'm doing absolutely nothing .

Poppy I hope you feel better soon, no wonder you were feeling so awful. Sending you some gentle hugs.
Organza Lace come to ours, you would be most welcome. The only one who causes a kerfuffle here is Dad because he opens his mouth before putting his brain in gear and some of his comments are very hurtful :mad:. He nearly lost DD's puppy last Xmas and swore it wasn't him who let him out :eek:. Nice try but he was caught red handed, so he and DD had words !
TA how annoying, and stupid to use 2 different delivery firms without explanation.
Hester is your tenant taking the mickey ? I think the sooner she goes the better, for you and CHS.
Speky I hope you feel better soon. Try not to pass on your germs to the new gf :D
WeeMidgie have you had any cuddles yet ? When you do have one extra for me please
Elona are you ok ? Probably still cuddling your baby GD . Take care of yourself.


OK I'm now going to have a quiet coffee while Mr Fix It plays on the x box with the DGS.
Take care and the hug bucket is replenished should anyone be in need.
