Has anyone ordered the Vostro recently from the small business section? What is the waiting time for delivery? Do they deliver 5 days or 6/7? If they give you an unsuitable date can you ring to change it?

What are the differences between the small business section and the home section? My son wants the Vostro 1500, which is only available on the small business part, is there a problem if you use this and you are not a small business?

    Any answers appreciated.

    Thanks

Dell purchase, if you're not exactly a 'business' buyer (from here):
The links provided below will take you to the Vostro systems on the Dell UK Small Business website. You are still allowed to purchase these systems if you are a home user. During the checkout process you will be asked to provide a business name, however it is perfectly acceptable to enter your own name in this space.

This one from overclockers would run games-you wouldn't be able to set the settings very high but you are looking at about £500 (when including the operating system) and it doesn't come with keyboard/monitor/etc:

Wouldn't buy anything from there TBH, their customer service and returns suck. They are expensive too, you can get much cheaper from Aria/Ebuyer/Scan.

Heh, I've had bad experiences with Ebuyer and generally avoid them, and not a single problem with overclockers. Plus the other sites often don't have the specific components I want (or all of them for a single order) and the price difference isn't much (sometimes cheaper) and when factoring in separate delivery costs it works out better for me .
Out of my mind. Back in 5 minutes.
