PE/Equita letter - Morrissons Camden

I received a ticket from PE in July (about 4 months ago), reason overstay by about 1.5 hours.
My wife was 36 weeks pregnant, when we visited Morrisons Camden. She felt terrible (had nausea and tiredness) during shopping. We ended up spending a lot of time in the shop due her sickness . Also shopping for a pregnant lady and 4 year old son needs lots of patience. The staff was made aware of the situation. I had sincerely not noticed the signage that the parking is only for 2 hours. The signage said in big letters (Morrisons Customer Only). So it never crossed my mind that it is limited time (2 hours).
To my surprise I received the PCN for £100 few days later. I went to the store to speak about this, but the representative at store, was very rude and refused to discuss. He told me that my purchase amount was only £80, so it can't take 3.5 hours. I tried explaining that he should not look at just amount, we have purchased 30+ items and also tried to explain him situation with pregnant wife. But he was not willing to talk. On a sidenote I have stopped shopping at Morrisons after that..
About three weeks ago, I received letters from Equita suggesting that they are recommending the court claim against me to PE. I wrote to PE (enforcement@parkingeye.co.uk), explaining the situation. I also offered them to give the name of driver, if they still wanted to pursue the case. I have not heard back from them for last 5 days.
Do you think I should be worried? Is there any other action I need to take?

Yes, write to Morrisons forthwith.bohemian1408 wrote: »Is there any other action I need to take?
(but do spell their name right, won't you?
)
Morrisons usually cancel EVERY SINGLE ONE when people email to complain:
donotreply@morrisonsplc.co.uk0 -
Last paragraph first
Equita are simply bog standard debt collectors in the parking scam, they can do nothing and Parking Eye know that.
Understand that managers at Morrisons are just glorified shelf stackers. You must tell your story in full top the CEO
Mr David Potts CEO
Email david.potts-ceo@morrisonsplc.co.uk
You require Mr Potts to cancel this charge immediately
Tell him what the manager said "He told me that my purchase amount was only £80, so it can't take 3.5 hours."
Maybe this manager tells say 1000 people the same, that's £80,000 of rubbish from someone he employs
The bottom line is "shop at Morrisons and get threats of court action from their parking scammer Parking Eye"
Do not mince your words ...... get this cancelled0 -
