Help with front door glass replacement

Hi all,
We have recently moved and have a composite front door with clear glass. We want to replace it with some privacy glass and I was wondering if this was a relatively straightforward DIY job.
I have removed the inside moulding and the packing plastic things around the sides unscrew easily enough. The glass unit itself is glued to the front moulding on the front of the door, it appears. I've drawn a sharp blade around the edges of this moulding, and it doesn't seem to want to budge, or not easily anyway. The inside simply popped off.
I've attached a couple of pictures of what I have. Could anyone give me a steer in terms of easiest way to remove the glass and whether if I force the front moulding it will just pop out?
Thanks

I'd have just bought a good roll of film.... there are some lovely looking ones. Job done, no DIY required. Although I'd have done it before I broke all that moulding0

I was thinking of doing that. To be honest I think film can look a bit naff? It would cost me around £15 quid for the film and around £60 to replace the glass units from what I could see. I appreciate it's a lot more expensive comparatively but it's not a massive cost either way, or at least not if I can replace the units myself0

Easy peasy, OH and I did a patio door a month or so ago for a cat flap, took us half an hour to replace the panel, an hour to fit the cat flap!
We used a razor blade and brute force to break the seal, definitely need two people for that part, one one to push and one to stop the panel falling.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
