Squeaky Sofa?

We have a just over year old harveys sofa suede and manual recliner. I wondered guys what constitutes "normal" sofa squeaking and why does the sofa squeak in the first place? What fixes can i do? Example i can get on / off it fine no massive squeaks tiniest ones maybe..
However if a dog walks accross sofa you can hear a moderate squeak, more then you can with me sitting on it strangely.! If i jiggle about / try to make it squeak it does and quite loudly! If i rock it makes a loud squeak.. i dont want to be over worrying but the whole dogs walking accros causing a minor squeak did throw me today. Thanks for advice!
